Laser Tag Tournaments for LASERTRON Players
Next Regional Event at Hey Day Entertainment in Norman, OK - Note Date Change.
The new Hey Day Entertainment Center in Norman, OK will host a Regional Event over Memorial Day weekend on Sunday May 25 and Monday May 26. Provisions may be made to all teams to complete their events Sunday night. Arrive no later than 9pm.
An entry fee of $35 per person will include a pizza buffet Sunday evening. Players will compete in at least one 4-player event and one 8-player event Team Sport. 4-player teams will be combined to form 8-player teams. Additional events and exhibition games will be played if time allows.
Call Hey Day at (405) 310-3500 to reserve your spot. A $10 deposit may be required. Maximium of 32 players for event.
2007 LASERTRON World Championships Concluded
LASERTRON Olympics Date Change
The dates for the LASERTRON Olympics in Amherst have been changed to allow for greater participation. The new dates will be June 28th & 29th.
The 2007 LASERTRON World Championships was successfully completed this past August 3rd through 5th in Western New York.
The tournament featured team events for both four-player and eight-player teams in addition to the Manager's Cup draft event, a Solo Elimination tournament and the Top Player Contest. Up to 16 teams entered the various events intent on taking home their share of over $4700 in cash prizes.

Top Gun, mostly from Laser Flash in Carmel, Indiana, took top honors at the tournament, with members winning three of four team events.
This year marked the first year for multiple divisions of play. The recreational level Division 2 was designed for up and coming players and newer laser tag players. Division 1 housed the best laser tag players.

Points Standings Updated
The final standings have been updated with points earned from the 2007 LASERTRON World Championships. The points standings now rate 196 players for their LASERTRON Laser Tag skill.

2008 LASERTRON World Championships.
Next year's World Championship event will again take place near Buffalo, New York in August. The Amherst LASERTRON Interactive Entertainment Center will host many of the events. This location is the oldest continually operating laser tag facility in North America.
The LASERTRON Sport Arena, remodeled in 2004 is a giant 9,200 square foot multi-level laser tag experience. One of the largest laser tag arenas in the world, the Sport Arena can play 48 players simultaneously on up to four teams.
The remaining events will again be hosted at Circle C Ranch in nearby Delevan. Circle C is a long-running Christian camp with many outdoor activities about one hour from LASERTRON in Amherst. In 2005, Circle C Ranch installed a new LASERTRON arena and LT-11 laser tag system.
The events at Circle C will include access to many of their popular outdoor activities including swimming and horseback riding. These activities can be enjoyed by laser tag player families and the players themselves when not actively playing.

The 2008 World Championships will be comprised of multiple events. Division 1 players will play Team Sport, Quad Sport and Shields-Recharge. Division 2 players will compete in Team Sport, Quad Sport and Team Free-For-All events. Players from both divisions will be eligible for the Manager's Cup draft event and the Solo Free-For-All event. Division 1 events will be for 8-player teams, while Division 2 events will be designed for 4-player teams.
Events are scheduled to take place the 2nd through the 5th of August. Division 1 will play complete their events on August 2nd & 3rd. The Solo event and the Manager's Cup will be played on August 3rd. Division 2 team events will occur in the afternoons and evenings of August 4th & 5th.
The Division 2 laser tag events will run concurrently with the LASERTRON World Congress, a meeting and training event designed primarily for employees of LASETRON Laser Tag equipped facilities. Stay tuned for more information.
The Prize Package of cash and other prizes will be awarded amongst the top teams in each team event and the top eight players in the Solo event. A special prize will be awarded to the top team in the Manager's Cup Event. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams/players in each event (except the Manager's Cup) for each division.
The prize package is based on participation in the national tournament and the success of Regional tournaments during the competitive laser tag season. This year, the total prize package should top $5000.
