Here is last year's travel information. We will be updating as time goes along, but this should be helpful to anyone considering a trip here. Please consider reserving your hotel space well in advance.
Getting Here Buffalo is served by the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Various low cost carriers such as Southwest Airlines, Air Tran and Jet Blue fly into Buffalo. Buffalo is also serviced by Amtrak. If you live near an Amtrak station, you'll find affordable summer fares to Buffalo.
About Buffalo Buffalo is near Niagara Falls and Ontario, Canada (about 25 minute drive from Amherst). The Niagara Falls area has a variety of attractions-- something for everyone. Hotels Unfortunately, the summer is the peak season for hotels in the Buffalo area. Most local hotels fill up easily with tourists seeking Niagara Falls. We hope to negotiate some discounted rates for the 2007 Championships. IMPORTANT:If the cost of hotel and travel is preventing you from playing in the LASERTRON World Championships, please contact me at jbock@lasertron.us.
